Was J Edgar Hoover a ?

I've always heard he was ual and wiki is going to have little pertinent information regarding this. There is no one that can definitively state he was or make credible statements linking him to any person he had relationships with. At this juncture it will be whatever you choose to believe. I haven't read anything or have heard anyone state it was true, let's say like Rock Hudson, Dirk Rambo, or Raymond Burr. Personally, I believe he was!!
