Why did countries like Syria, Libya, Turkey, Tunisia rebel?

Hi im just curious but why did the people in countries like Syria, Libya, Turkey, Tunisia and others begin to rebel against there governments? Obviously they are normal people but what set it all off? Did they always want to change government rules but were too afraid but it took the courage of one country for the others to follow? Id just like to know a bit about it thats all, thanks.
