Why does the water spin different ways in the North and south hemispheres when you flush the toilet?

They don't it's a myth that started with the Coriolis effect on air/water currents. The sppin of the water in the toilet depends largely on how the water is poured into the bowl, not whether the toilet is in the northern or southern hemisphere.
