Giving a ques a star decrease ur chance to be chosen as Best Answer?

Some people star a question thinking if they star the question the person will pick them best answer. Friends give friends stars. Me I only star a question if I find it interesting and would like to see what the answers are. I very seldom ever star a question. I really do not see a lot of questions starred anymore.
