VW bora 2003 illuminated lights on air con not working ?

plus the illuminated lights on the twist dials on air flow direction and air flow temp not working but all the other lights are working in the inside of car eg cig light radio lights and all the electric window ons all illuminated ok can any tell me what the problem could be thanks.
