When is the right time to get admitted, to hospital?

I had a baby that was over 10 lbs.....at home! I had a midwife follow me through my pregnancy, and deliver. SHe knew that it would be a big baby and wasn't worried about it. I worked( by choice) on my feet, physical work, until 2 weeks before my due date, and she did not discourage this, only encouraged me to rest when I was not working, and eat properly through the days and nites. I wish you luck with your baby. Don't let your doctor push you into things you aren't comfortable with.
