Dog smell round the house any tips?

my dog is not smelly I wash his bed and blankets every 3-4 days 60 wash hoover and mop everyday wash his toys with his bed but sometimes i get the odd whiff esp if it's raining and I air my house everyday clean up after him in the yard i smell him when i get the doggy whiff but he not smelly don't want to wash him to often and dry him out i brush him everyday
