Do any other people in other Countries/US states ever hear about Virginia?

I hear about all these other states in the movies, school and everything like that.. but we have half of the pentagon or something like that, Lol the first colonies were here (English) we have the revolutionary war here, york town, Williamsburg, Busch gardens, VA beach.... and we have like 5 military bases for every 10 cities.... (on the coastlines)) I live in Hampton Roads, OHH! and we are the home of the CIA!! (Langley)
